retake??

Hi guys!

First I wanna say thanks to everyone for all the advice! Helped a lot!! yay for teamwork 🙂
I took my test today and I can say I'm not particularly happy overall.. (I'm an average test taker, I wish i could be amazing like all you 21+ers! 🙁 )

PAT 20
QR - 18
RC - 20
Bio - 19 (it was a lot harder than I was expecting, it really is random and luck)
Gchem - 17 (i don't know what happened, I did well on all the practice tests)
Ochem -21
TS - 19
AA - 19

I would say my scores are pretty average, the one I am really really really worried about is gchem because I know some schools won't even take 17s on a science section. I'm really mad at myself for this section.

I'm not sure how I feel about PAT, is 20 good?

I was wondering if you guys think I should retake? I know 17 is a bad score for a science section... and 19 is pretty average. blahh 🙁

things i used: kaplan, ap cliffs bio, barrons dat (barely only read one section) crackpat & destroyer

I don't know if i like the whole getting your scores right away, definitely puts a damper on your day! lol

Your scores are not all too bad. If your GPA and extracurriculars are in line then things should work out for you. I would call the schools that you are interested in and ask them what their advice would be. I'm guessing that many would say "Those are average scores. You would have a chance of getting in but to be more competitive you may want to schedule a retake."

It depends on your GPA. If it's high, then you're probably ok.

You are fine. everything is 17+. Apply to 15+ schools though.

unfortunately my gpa sucks, 3.3 overall and 3.1 science so i needed to do amazing on the DAT 🙁 I have good extra curriculars though.. i don't really know what to do
