Is it true that ostepathic schools only use retakes to calculate GPA if applicable?
Also what are the most difficult to get into/prestigious osteopathmedical schools?
thanks

Yes they only use retakes. I dont know the your question tho.

from what i have read on this forum...it seems like PCOM is one of the top schools...i think NYCOM is as well, but im not certain about that.

i heard that michigan is ranked #15 of medical schools (osteo and allo) in the US. it's pretty hard to get accepted there. and im pretty sure kirksville is ranked up there too.

do a search on those rankings; they more or less mean nothing since they are heavily dependent on alumni response. Additonally, that ranking was for primary care which is also heavily dependent on the amount of people entering primary care.

I would hardly say that any one school is more prestigious than any other. They each have their strengths and weaknesses.
