If I am retaking a class in the fall and then one in the spring (along with a new science class in the fall and then another one in the spring) and I am applying to schools this summer, will they wait to accept/reject me or give me a chance to interview until my grades are in? How early can you receive acceptances?

I'm concerned only because my science GPA is a 3.2 now, but upon retakes and the addition of the new classes (assuming I get A's which I think I will), it'll be closer to a 3.46.

Well I haven't done this... but what I do now is that they won't wait to accept/reject you or grant you an interview based on fall grades... they will evaluate your grades and make a decision, based on your completed application... but unless the school has cutoffs you don't meet, the admissions process takes a while so chances are they wouldn't outright reject you until the spring (by which time you would have updated them with fall grades).

Are you worried that your grades are too low? and may be outright rejected? If so, you could tell admissions in your PS/Secondary essays that you are retaking classes in the fall to boost you GPA, so maybe they: A. might not flat out reject you or B. wait until they get grade updates in the winter before making a decision. I would probably suggest doing that.

Just my $.02. Anyone who has experience in this kind of situation wanna chime in?

*I originally didn't see that you said your sGPA is 3.2... with that I don't think you have to worry about being flat out rejected b4 ur fall grades are updated.
