I have a question. I have to retake two classes (Physics 1 and Calc. 2). I retook physics and got an A and probably will end up with B in the Calculus class. What I was wondering was even though the retake grade will lower the overall GPA, will admissions take into account the fact that I did better when I retook the class a second time?

Most definitely... They still notice that you had to retake a class which can have some negatives to it, but as long as you kill it the second time through they'll also take notice.

Yup, I had to retake Organic 2 and I got an A in it and I've been asked about it in my interviews.
