Retaking a class

Hey all,

I'm a freshman premed math major in my second quarter. My dream med schools are UCSF and UCLA (I'm out of state). I'm most likely going to get a B in one of my classes this quarter, and was wondering if I should retake it to "fix" my GPA. The class isn't required for my major or premed, and without it my GPA is (and probably will continue to be) around a 3.8.
