Hey everyone I have a question that I couldn't seem to find the answer to in any other threads. Alright so my Gen Chemistry 1 Final posted and it looks like I would be finishing with a solid D. Clearly that is not passing, nor does that help my ambitions to be a doctor at all. My question is should I withdraw from Gen Chemistry 2 Lecture and Lab and just retake Gen Chem 1 Lecture, since I did well in Chemistry 1 Lab?

Thanks

You don't have to retake the lab for the medical school admissions. However, the undergrad may force you to take the lab over if you take the lecture over. I found this to be the case when I took chem over.

Yeah, its a pain in the rear. I had a similar situation, except I got a C-, and my school made me retake the lab portion again. It bites, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

But the consensus is that I should withdraw from Chem 2 and register to retake Chem 1?

Is it too late to withdraw? If not, I would say do it

Correct, The D I am referring to is from this current fall semester, I took the ACS final two days ago and was originally scheduled for Gen Chem 2.
