I want to retake psych, and eng .. I got C+'s
It's cheaper at a CC but I hear it's better if I retake them at a 4yr college 😕

It probably looks better coming from a university, but I still don't think it'll look bad taking them at a CC. Did you originally take them at a university? If they aren't pre-reqs, you really shouldn't have an issue with any school. Obviously Goro would be able to answer this question the best, and at least say what happens on his adcom.

If it were me, it would depend on the price difference between the CC and the cheapest nearby university. If we're only talking a 5-10% increase in price, I would probably go to the university. Price was the reason I did my post-bac at another university, even though my degree granting one is literally down the street.

It's fine. CCs can be quite rigorous. Just don't take one course/year. But really, we're less impressed by how you've done in psych and engineering than in your Bio and Chem classes. What's your current cGPA and sGPA?

I think the significance of this is way overstated in the pre-med world. As long as you take a full courseload and do well, nobody is going to penalize you for something that can be explained away with financial reasoning.

Totally overrated to take stuff at 4-years. Retake at CC opie. I know someone who did 4 years at a CC and is currently at an MD school.
