Retaking Biochem section!tips???

I'm retaking the biochem/physio section..unfortunately couldnt pass that one 🙁 i havent taken the new format yet so does anyone have any tips on wat its like and wat i should study? coz the decks weren't enough last time 😡
any help would be great appreciated! 🙂

I haven't taken the exam but the way I will prepare for that section is:

Biochem: Lippincott's Illustrated Reviews of Biochemistry. This is it. This is all you need. Read it. The Kaplan Biochem Section was absolute garbage for me. The only thing I took from that was protein, lipid, and carb metabolism all seem to intersect at the TCA cycle.

Physio: Marieb's Human Physiology & Anatomy correlated with BRS Physiology. Marieb is all you need for phys, but since it's rather lengthy, I would only read passages that come up in BRS phys.

I haven't even touched the Decks yet. I'll reserve that till the very end and correlate them with First Aid. I'm not a memorizer. I gotta actually understand and apply info to remember it.
