I took Calculus about a year ago, but I got a D. I am working towards my BS in Kinesiology and I really don't want to take it over at the moment. I wanted to know would it hurt to wait to take it next spring if I am applying for Fall 2009. Will it look bad if I don't retake it before I apply? 😕

I would think you'd want to retake asap to help improve the hit your GPA took from a D.

Yes, they might dismiss your application because the only thing they see is Calculus being a D... you need atleast a C to get into pharmacy school... So it would be to your advantage to retake the class asap... Even though your other classes might not be finished... they will be able to assume that you will pass the class, however leaving a D for one of your pre-req classes will say to them that you aren't qualified..

I would definitely say retake it A.S.A.P! I got a C the first time I took it and I decided to retake it last semester and I got an A!!! 😀😀😀 It took a lot of work but it was well worth that A (and the increased GPA)!!! Well, good luck to you!
