I had a quick question about retaking classes for DO grade replacements. I will be graduating from the undergraduate university next month. I am planning to re-take a class in the university's extension system. I was wondering if Extension courses are okay to take.

I had a quick question about retaking classes for DO grade replacements. I will be graduating from the undergraduate university next month. I am planning to re-take a class in the university's extension system. I was wondering if Extension courses are okay to take.

What class are you planning on re-taking? It does not matter as much if it's a basic GE course, but might just be marginally better if it's an upper div science course. Just to note: although the extension course will be nearly identical to the actual university course, it counts as a DIFFERENT institution from the actual university, and will require a separate transcript.

Are the original course and extension course listed as the same? I retook single classes after I graduated and they were the same title and description

Its fine, but make sure the course name and numbers are the same or else you'll need to go sort it out with AACOMAS.
