I would say no. Show improvement in your upper biology/science courses and it should be fine.

I've graduated and I've finished a lot of my upper division bio classes and I did much better my last two years in college than my first. I got C's throughout all the lower division bio series and I've retaken 2 of the 3 but this quarter I'm taking anatomy and physiology so I just don't know if its worth retaking the lower div bio class I got a C since every A counts or just let it go since it won't boost my GPA that much.

just let it go, you've showed improvement, you could talk about that in interviews or even your PS if its necessary but if there is only one C, it shouldn't be that big of a deal. I had a C+ in gen chem one semester and I still got interviews and acceptances. whats ur gpa?

I have other C’s that definitely isn’t my only one, but I’ve retaken many of them and gotten A’s. But there are still a couple left, 1 in bio, 2 in intro chem, and 1 In plant bio. And right now my cumulative is on the lower end 3.07, but I’m gonna be taking more classes while applying like histology, immunology, etc. My second year really tanked my gpa like 2.5 range for multiple quarters but I kept above a 3.0 my last two years, it’s just hard to come back from that.

honestly, i'm not exactly sure what to do...the thing is your GPA is really low but I don't think retaking the classes will help bring it up that much because I believe ur final grade is just the average of the two times you've taken it. Your best bet might be a post bac or a masters program in my opinion.
