Will it be necessary to retake classes like Molecular, Orgo II, and Orgo Lab if I get a C in them? As long as my GPA is still decent in the end will it be alright or will they be put off by getting such low grades in these science classes?

No. Do not retake a class since class grades aren't replaced with the higher grade, except for DO applicants.

No, unless you're aiming for DO, I don't think you should retake those. Just make sure to do well from now on (I know it's easier said than done) to raise your GPA. Succeeding in upper level science courses is a good way to show you're ready for the rigors of med school. Many schools appreciate upward trends, and in the end, a few C's won't matter as long as your overall gpa is fine. Good luck!

This is a big relief because I was worried I was tanked for sure. Thanks!

I'm not sure how I'll explain it to med schools, though, because it's essentially been from a lack of motivation which is somehow related to a recent anxiety diagnosis I feel like.
