I go to a school with quarters and plan on retaking classes once I graduate next June.

Say I wanted to retake Chem 2, would I have to take Chem 1 + 2 at a semester school?

If you need to retake chem2-3, you will need to take two semester Chem and mark your all three quarter Chem as repeat.

Call the AACOMAS, they will be the ones calculating your GPA.

That makes sense, thank you.

Chem 3 = Organic chem I?
I'm on quarters (3 per year). Whatever you did at the end of Gen Chem was our Chem 3. ;)

I replaced one semester course with two quarter course. I contacted aacomas tech support and they calculated it for me in the right way.

If you give AACOMAS a call, can you let me know what they tell you? I emailed them with the same question and got this as an answer:

Hello,

Thank you for contacting AACOMAS. If you retook the series at another school
and CHEM A and B is equivalent to the 3 part series, then that should be
acceptable. As each school are operating on a different system.

Please don't hesitate to contact us if you should have any more questions.

Thank you,
AACOMAS Support Team
I'd love to get verification from a confirmed human though. Thanks!
