I am sure that there have been other threads on the this particular topic but i was wondering if you guys could possibly help me make a decision. I am currently a senior, will be graduating in December, just took my MCAT's on September 11 and i plan to apply to DO schools. I heard from someone that if i were to retake the classes that i got a C or B in and if i am applying to DO school the new grade actually replaces the previous grade instead of averaging the two grades. Is this true? if this is true is it worth it to push my graduation back and retake the classes i got C's in? My sGPA is currently at 3.1 and if i were to push my graduation back i would be graduating in may 2011 instead of december 2010.
