I know this thread has been done over a million times, but I just finished Differential Equations and did substantially better than I did in Calculus. I got an A- compared to C's in both calc I and II. I am convinced the only reason I did poorly in calc was because I was lazy, and it was my freshman year. College was a wake up call. I KNOW that if I take Calculus again that I will do much better. I know that I can get A's in it if I take it again. I know how much work I need to devote to it, and I know what I have to do. It's almost a matter of personal pride than sucking up to medical school adcoms. If I have room in my schedule, is there anything wrong with retaking these classes?

I would retake, simply because Calc is a prereq at most med schools.

true, I also recommend if you haven't already. look at all schools you plan on applying to within a reasonable reach and decide which classes you really want to take. Some schools don't require calc or some can be substituted with statistics etc..
