Okay so maybe I'm mistaken but I was under the impression from my school that I could retake my classes I recieved less then stellar grades in to improve my GPA.

Now I hear the PTCAS counts all classes. I chose to do all my pre-req's first before I started my BS (Only in 2nd semester of my BS) but I have all my pre-req's completed with only a 2.8 GPA. I wasn't worried because I'm in no rush and figured I could retake some classes I got C's in get A's and bump up to a 3.4+ easy.

Is that not the case? What hope do I have??

The PTCAS will average the two grades. Your gpa will still improve if you were to get A(s) on those classes now but not as high as if they were to just replace the grades.

So, I have to get enough A's on retakes to get my pre-req's to 3.0

Then hope to get a 3.3+ undergrade GPA ... lol

Wow, so that means I had better get an A in my physics class! I received a D after taking it in the summer session which was only 5 weeks long. That was a bad choice on my part to do it in the short summer session, hopefully if I get an A in the fall it will help make the situation look more bearable!
