Retaking DAT in november

Hi I'm a new member (long time reader...)
I took my Dat in August and didn't do as well as I wanted to score especially in the RC... , so I'm retaking it in November.
I'd appreciate your comments and/or advise to improve my score especially for RC.

i don't think your scores are horrible (in fact, very similar to mine). if you're not getting any love with those scores, then taking it over may be a good idea. however, i wouldn't designate your scores to be sent to schools. take the exam, see your scores, if they are better THEN pay to send them to schools.

i have heard horror stories of people doing worse the 2nd time and the scores were sent to schools. you def. have a shot of getting interviews to schools w/ those scores assuming your GPA is 3.5+.

well the thing is I already told the schools I'll be retaking it and told them to place a hold on my application till they receive my new scores...

Besides, if I retake the DAT but don't send them the score if it's worse, can I still have them review my application based on my first score?
