So is it bad to retake the DAT after submitting my application?

So if I apply in June and then retake my DAT in September it will be fine?

OC:29

AA:21
I talked to a few advisor and they said I should retake since my biology is low.

I think he/she is right. Most schools have a cutoff score of 17.Since biology is one of, if not the most important science section you should retake. Other than that, your scores are great. You can do it.

Thanks for your help! Apparently I have to take the new DAT and I hope It isn't harder.

Omg, your scores are amazing!! IMO. I hoped u have been interviewed pre-December. If not, it probably will comes post-Dec. Even though, ur BIO score isn't that good, but ur OC & GC compensate for it. Overall, ur TS & AA looks great and competitive. And if u have a good GPA to go with it, I highly doubt that the admission committee will pass u up. Just be confident at ur interview and u'll be golden.

What a tough situation to be in. You did amazing in every section, but that 16 is a red flag for sure, especially since it's in one of the most important sections. If I were you, I would take a month off, then get back into study mode and focus on bio to make sure you get a 20+. Best of luck either way!

Yeah I don't know. The problem is that I won't have time for retaking it until September. 🙁

Make time. That 16 could rule you out from a lot of schools
