Retaking DAT..

I took a DAT in August and dont like the score I got. I plan to retake it 3 months later in November. I know this is too late.

So here are my questions.

1. If I indicate that Im gonna retake DAT in Nov in AADSAS application now (I already e-summited before June), do the dental schools hold my application before they get the new score in Nov? I would not retake it if they say Im enough to go.

2. If they do not hear from AADSAS, should I let them know this by fax ?

I'd say it really depends on the score you've got right now.
Unless it's really bad, november is really late. I took it in mid-July and I was still not considered for the first invites in some schools.
