Retaking math classes

I took college algebra my very first semester of college while playing baseball and got a C. Should I retake this course to help my sGPA (3.1) or forego the retake and pick up another upper division science course? Thanks

Math doesn't count as science. It would only raise non science and cum gpa

You were probably looking at BCMP GPA for MD schools.
