I applied to medical schools this year, and I was very fortunate to get an interview at my first-choice school. However, I'm still very worried that it would reject me based on my low MCAT verbal score due to my experiences with other medical schools. In fact, although I had an interview at other schools, most of them either wait-listed or rejected at these schools. I asked their admission committees and they all responded that they wouldn't be able to accept me because of my MCAT score. I am in love with my first choice school, and I would do anything to get in. I'm retaking MCAT this spring for not only my first choice school but also other schools that have waitlisted me. To be on the safe side, I'm considering to let my first choice school, which is non-rolling and will inform me of their decision in March, know that I'm retaking MCAT. I'm hoping that they would hold my application and wait for my score in May instead of outright rejecting me. Is this a bad move?
