Retaking MCAT post acceptance

When I was at my Kirksville interview they mentioned that some students retake the MCAT in April so they can qualify for scholarships. I have actually really been considering this since I'll be a lot more prepared for it than I was when I took it last April. (I'll have had 2 physics, genetics, biochem, phys & ecology in the mean time).
Is anyone else who has been accepted thinking about a retake?
