So finals just ended and I didn't do so hot in O-chem II. For some reason beyond me, my school does not offer O-chem II again untill NEXT spring. So I was wondering, how it would look to retake this class at a different school this summer. The class won't be replaced at my current school and it won't effect my GPA, But I will have a better grade that shows up when I apply to school, which will be later this summer. I know that D.O schools look at the the better of the two grades, so would this plan be advisable?

i think it will be fine. i am getting a degree through an extension of my state school (as it is 2 hours away) but the extension offers no science as it is a smaller extension (obviously) so i am taking a number of classes outside my regular college. just say it was a schedule issue.

I did it, and got into med school, for whatever it's worth. Just do better the second time than the first, and have a good explanation.
