Okay so I just took Orgo I in the summer and received a C+ in the course so I wanted to retake it. I was planning on taking Orgo II at a CC and then just retaking Orgo I in this same CC . I'm usually an A/A- student and I wanted to know if this would look bad on my application . I'm not looking for an easy way around things I just want to understand the subject so I can do well on the MCAT and my Orgo professor was not very helpful opposed to the professors at this CC ( I did a semester there as a chem major in the beginning of my college career)

Some med schools don't accept courses that were taken at CC's to fulfill their requirements. Buy the MSAR or look at individual school websites to see if it's okay.

In the absence of financial or personal issues, returning to a CC to retake a pre-req while enrolled at a 4-year is generally not a good idea. It would be different if you were doing it before transferring to the 4-year, or as part of a do-it-yourself post bacc or something after having graduated. First impression is that you returned to the CC because you couldn't handle it at the 4 year.
