Retaking Orgo-- When and Where?

Hello all!

I did really badly in orgo lecture these past two semesters and I was wondering when exactly I should retake it in order for the new grades to be reflected on my med school apps. (Also, in general up to what semester is reflected on your initial med app if you are applying in the regular timeline.) I am a sophomore.

I cannot take it this summer because I will be interning abroad. I would prefer to take it next summer at a different university, however I wanted to see if this would be a wise decision.

On the other hand, I have done very well in lab, and I know that I am just terrible at taking the tests for this course. Will a level of proficiency still be demonstrated on my record with a good lab grade/bad lecture grade?

If you got a C, leave it alone. If you got lower than a C, take it over.
