Okay, immediately after I took the MCAT on 7/31, I signed up to take it again on 9/4. However, I have not had the time to devote to studying for it, and I am pretty sure if I took it on 9/4, I will probably do worse.

I think I did okay on 7/31 but I didn't have a great feeling about it. I am pretty sure I shouldn't retake it on 9/4 just because I haven't studied enough. I get my scores on 9/1...

Should I cancel taking the MCAT on 9/4? Or what would you recommend that I do?

Everyone feels like crap after they take the MCAT, and they usually turn out within 1-2 pts of your AAMC average, so if you are happy with your practice averages, you will be fine. Also, if you haven't had the time to study, don't take the beast again until you feel ready.

So if I decide not to take it, what do I need to do? Do I need to formally cancel my registration or just not show up?
