I'm sure there is thread about this, but I can't find one at the moment..

I was wondering what schools thought about retaking the OAT. Is it looked down upon a lot? Is it a big deal?

If you do well on the retake, you should be fine. It is not uncommon for students to take multiple attempts at the OAT. So long as your scores improve enough, it won't be a big deal, but obviously if they don't, you'll have problems.

SCCO wants you to retake if any of your scores are below 300. And NECO is waiting to see my updated retake score to grant me an interview or not. I got an invite to SUNY, but from what people are saying in the forum... they'll most likely to ask me to retake it since they usually want scores 320 and above on each section. So i'm in the process of studying again to retake in late jan or feb...but it's really difficult because i'm not as motivated and im not so confident that my scores will improve that greatly =/
