Retinal Surgery Fellowships

Now that the fellowship match is already completed, I was wondering if some folks out there can shed some light on the different programs. Specifically, are the private practice fellowships considered prestigious and where do they fall in the overall rank.

The ones I know of are: Beaumont, UAB, OCB, NRI, RGW, NEI, ARC, CPMC

Are these good programs or is it still better to go to the academic powerhouses?

I am planning to hopefully be in private practice and will be applying next year.
