retire affirmative action thread?

Just thinking that at post #666, perhaps the venerable and prolific AA thread should be retired - it's infinite wisdom has guided me, for one, well through the last year of MCAT, applying and hunter-green hell.

We've only learned that people are very set in their opinions, and nothing you can say can budge them -- but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

my motorola timeport's antenna broke. i got a replacement one from the mall of america. i emailed sprint pcs to get an official replacement. they just emailed me to call them back. so i had to dig for my old broken antennae...it only took me 1/2 hour to dig it outta my messy desk.

I don't know that the AA thread has anything at all to do with AA. I think you are reading the wrong one. Make sure it is by DW.

well, i think i'm just waiting for some the of 2003-2004 applicants to step up to the plate and defend this site against the humor assasin premeds that lurk in the depths SDN. It seems we're getting back into the early cycles of neurosis again (what color suite to wear, tape or glue, all these threads are popping up again), so i'm sure there will be some fresh material to work with soon. 🙂

I was reading over in allo that there alternates a slacker class and a gunner class in med school. Maybe we were a slacker application cycle and this years is a gunner application cycle.
