Hey everyone, thanks for taking the time to read this. I just wanted some insight from others about my plan and if there are any flaws to it that you could see.

Currently, I'm working for my bachelors, and I will have it after this Spring (2011). I am an non-traditional student, so I'm missing some pre-reqs that I'm planning to take after I finish my bachelors. I did take some of the pre-reqs already, such as Biology 1&2, and Chemistry 1. So here's my layout on the classes I'm taking:

Summer 2011
-Chemistry II & Lab

Fall 2011
-Organic I & Lab
-Physics I & Lab
-Calculus I
-Some upper science class I haven't decided yet, because my university only offers microbiology in summer

Spring 2012
-Organic II & Lab
-Physics II & Lab
-Biochemistry
-Study for DATs and take it in Summer 2012 and apply for 2013

I'm also planning to begin shadowing throughout all of this, so if anyone has any comments/suggestions I'd appreciate it.

I would spread it out a little. take micro, Chem II and Calc I in the SUMMER.

Fall ORGo I & lab and PHysics I & lab + 1 or 2 extremely easy classes
B/c those 2 science classes alone will require a lot of time.

Spring take Orgo II lab + Physics II lab and 1 easy classes.

Spread them out a little bit... Dont rush... There is no point in rushing if you get all B's or even lower. You gpa will decrease and it wont look good.

Regarding biochem you can take it in Spring 2013 or spring 2011... its up to you. You do not have to take biochem before you apply you can take it after you apply. you just have to finish it before you enter d-school (for only the school which require it)

Thanks for the advice; how many credit hours each semester would be considered a good amount? Also, when is the latest you would take the DATs to matriculate in 2013?

Take your dat anytime before june of 2012.. As long as you get good grades in all those science classes it shouldnt matter how many credits you take up. But just to be on safe side take up to 15 credits. Take easy classes to balance hard classes. Good luck
