I am posting this, as there doesn't seem to be tons of reviews on these materials, and I was hoping to start some discussion to help out those who haven't taken the test yet. The point is to compare the following:
1. Utility - that is, does it help prepare you for the test well
2. Redundance - is it similar to other texts (to the point you are basically reading the same thing)
3. Completeness - does it cover the breadth of topics covered by the test
4. Depth - does it give you the details/pathophys that you may (or may not) want
Rapid Review - USMLE 3
Step 3 Triage
Kaplan USMLE Master the Boards Step 3
I am not mentioning Crush or FA as there are tons of reviews/buzz about these books already.
Personal review has me feeling as though there is significant overlap between Step 3 Triage and Kaplan, whereas RR has way more meat.
