how are you guys reviewing the nbme exams? there are no official exams keys so I'm not sure what would be the best way to learn from them. Any advice guys?

well the easy questions are the easy questions.

Moreover, I have confirmed all of NBME 6, 11 via expanded feedback (compared forms with others)

Virtuall all of 7 and 12

And based on various inputs I have a preliminary answer key for Forms 1-5 (the answers that were NOT unanimous, I did some lengthy research into textbooks, research papers, and emedicine to get a strong case for a particular answer choice)

Ask away...

I'd rather not distribute it online. I will get nailed. I am convinced that government is watching me. :scared:

Some of those questions take some serious leg work....Reviewing my NBME 6 took almost the entire afternoon....

do you guys just read each question and look for the answers? darn, i guess im gonna have to plan ahead to review them then 😛

ive been taking them to just assess where I am but im beginning to think I should review to get in sync with the way they ask questions

If you have expanded feedback then you can see the ones you missed. I've HEARD that they aren't like uworld and you can screenshot/snip each question, put them in a document and look them up on your own time. *cough*

There are also discussions aplenty if you feel lazy and don't want to do that legwork, but I feel the search and scavenging is as valuable for learning as finding the answer.

How long did it take to get your expanded feedback/where do you access it? I paid for it and took the test this morning, but I can't figure out how to look at the expanded feedback. All I have is that 2 page thing with the bars on it.

its kind of confusing but you just need to keep pressing next. you'll get to a page with breakdown of your score by subject. click on the subject and it will take you to the questions.

Oh wow. My tool bar on my computer completely hid it. Found it though. Thanks for the help!
