Revising personal statement?

Other than the generous members of SDN, are there any good resources for personal statement advice? I'm about to be a second-time reapplicant, and the quality of my essays is the last thing I've yet to control for. I'm more concerned with the subject matter from the ADCOM perspective than grammar/writing style.

I found Barron's Essays that will Get You Into Medical School pretty useful and inspirational. They provide some commentary on each of the essays. I honestly don't remember if it talks more about subject matter or writing style, but you could look at it through Amazon to see if it addresses your areas of focus. Best of luck!
