It's certainly possible. A classmate of mine is marrying a general dentist - he just finished a GPR - and he accepted an offer of $180k + incentives here in Philly so he could be near her.
Sounds a bit high, but it's very possible. Like any other profession or business, dentistry is subject to supply and demand, and the supply of dentists looks to be decreasing. A good thing for dentists and dentists to be.😉
