Right way to proceed?

I was accepted to a post-bac program (SMP) and the two options to fund my graduate study are through the Stafford Grad loans and the Grad PLUS loans. My question is: I'd like to get the ball rolling on the loan paperwork so can I do this right away or do I need some kind of "green light" from my university financial aid office? I've emailed them the same question but they have not responded yet.

My FAFSA 2010-2011 is done and was processed earlier this year.

All you can do is wait for your financial aid office. There's no rush. If all you are getting is grad plus and stafford it doesn't matter when everything is processed.
