Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are about rinses regarding what is recommended to patients as opposed to what is actually used personally? Is it often the same? Or do you use brand X, but recommend brand Z? Why?

I advise my patients to use Colgate Total or Sensodyne tooth paste. I use what ever is free.

I use whatever free stuffs they gave me at the convention, except all toothpaste and whatever other craps that are "Made In China."

i use something with fluoride in it. no alcohol. like ACT, but there's a cheaper version, equaline, that's fine. i recommend the same.

I didnt know orthodontists were qualified to recommend dental pastes.....maybe you should stick to brackets and budweisers.🙂
