Risky! Retake OAT or wait and see, retake and apply next year

So I had an interview this past week. It went really well and the adcom seemed to very impressed. However my OAT scores are low. TS and AA 300. RC 260. They didnt say I had to retake it, but you kinda got the idea they want you to.

The problem is they would want the scores in the next two weeks or so. That means I have to retake like on Monday. I don't think this is possible. Doesn't it take a week or more just to get a confirmation number to even set an appt date? Also, if I were able to get in that soon, I take the risk of doing the same or even worse due to lack of preparation? What would you do?

The other issue is I have another inteview coming up in late febuary. They may say the same thing. I could at least prepare now for that possibility and take it late Feb to meet their March deadline.

Hi,

I'm not sure if you are talking about NOVA but I have heard people with 300AA getting in....I haven't interviewed there yet so this isn't first hand information.

Personally, I think you should register for the OAT and take it at the end of February before the March deadline - just to be safe. You never know - you may get in before then! Then you will have just lost the processing fee...you won't miss out on your chance of going to that school!

Dont u have to wait 90 days before retaking the OAT? I think thats what I read on the website
