Hello,
I know there is already a thread addressing this question, however I was hoping for more insight so I started a new thread. I am deciding on premed schools at the moment and considering RIT ( rochester institute of technology) for pre med. I really need want to go to Weill Cornell or Harvard for medical school and I feel like a school not as well-known like RIT will hurt my chances. Also could anyone give me some insight on what their pre med is like?

What other options are you looking at? Going to a fancy top-20 undergrad will certainly help if your end goal is to wind up at a similar ranked med school, but just the same, going to RIT wouldn't bar you from entry if you play your cards right.

Why do you need to go to Cornell or Harvard?
