For those RNs who are already in medical school right now, what are your experiences like? I know people have different RN background experiences but I just wanted to get a general idea of how working as an RN helped you in medical school?

RN's out there in medical school...can you give us an idea of how you structured going pre-med. How many classes you took per semester and also how you grouped them together.

ochemlover45 thanks for the reply. Any certain reason you went for the BSN as the bachelors? How much if any are you working during that course load Congrats on the GPA etc. Thanks again.

The main reason was time. I know that nurses and allied health degrees have the lowest matriculation rate of any degree but I'm approaching 30 and needed a degree to apply. It would have took me significantly longer to apply if I wanted a biology or neuroscience degree.

I work about 24-32 hours a week and volunteer 2 hours a week.
