Memorize Sabiston's while you're at it. 😉

Don't forget the other boy in the band...Goodman and Gilman's pharmacology! You have to know it cold in order to break the 90th%ile. 😛

NO. I think robbins is WAY too thick... and Harrisons is too clinical.... Stick with BRS Pathology, baby robbins here and there, and (personal favorite) Rapid Review Goljan Pathology. Lots of people at my school used only these for path (with the exception of using the big Robbins for pictures) and did very well on the boards.

I got through Harrisons in 8 hours. It wasn't as thorough as I'd like though, so I've upgraded to HY internal medicine....damn!, this book is thick.🙄

Ummmm........ right......

Seriously, though, daact - you don't need Harrison's at all. It's an internal medicine book - not basic sciences.

(P.S. - i'm a lady, fellas, not a guy!)

Thanks

these are the two basic books we indian medical students use . robbins is important for diagnosis where as harrisons in its clinical point of view . Everythings of robbins is in harrisons .

we read robbins in our 2nd year of medical career and harrisons in 4th year . so its easy for us to finish harrisons easily albeit its a quite massive one .

i will tell u to read these books for ultimate knowledge.

I CORRECT WRONG DIAGNOSIS
