Rocky Mountain Interviews

Hey there! Anyone else have an interview for Rocky Mountain this Friday?

When did you submit your application? and do you mind sharing your stats? I applied there as well but haven't heard anything back

I interviewed on Friday; I'm hoping to hear back about admissions relatively soon!

I just received an email from Rocky Mountain inviting me to interview on Oct. 9th! I had to reschedule to the Nov. 6th interview date because of conflicting interviews. On Eventbrite, it showed that they were hosting interviews of Oct. 9th, Nov. 6th, Dec. 4th, and Jan. 15th just in case anyone wanted to know. Btw, I submitted my PTCAS on September 1st. Best of luck to everyone!

I got accepted to Rocky Mountain for their May cohort yesterday! Has anybody else heard back yet?

For those who already interviewed and heard back, how long did it take to receive your decision after the interview??

Congrats on the interview! How long after you submitted your application did you get the email about interviewing?
Submitted application: 9/14
Application verified by PTCAS: 9/16
Interview invite received: 9/30
Interview date: 10/9
Acceptance: 10/15

Hope this helps!

Hey! I got an interview for 12/4. any advice or info on how the day went??

I interviewed last Friday and I got a call yesterday with an acceptance! As far as how the day went, it was pretty casual with a presentation and Q+A session. The interview was about 45 minutes long, one on one with a professor. They let us know ahead of time who we were interviewing with so you can look at their bios to ask about their experiences. The interview for me was super conversational and then 4-5 "interview" questions were incorporated, mostly at the beginning. I got really great vibes the entire time.

I interviewed 11/6 and got my acceptance call yesterday 11/10! I was accepted into the May cohort. I concur with Jenik, it was very casual and filled with good vibes. I interviewed with Dr. Young and she was a sweetheart. I think the only way to prepare for the interview is to be confident. There wasn't anything necessary to research beforehand.

hi, congrats on your acceptance! I'm such a worrier and I was just wondering around what time of day you got your phone call? I work and just don't want to miss it!

Hmmm I think it was around 10am? But I’m sure they’d leave a voicemail. I also got my acceptance email a day or two after. So they will definitely get in contact with you one way or another. Don’t stress and good luck!

I thought my interview (11/6) went well. I haven’t received a call yet, so I’m assuming it didnt go as well as I thought!
it was very casual. It felt like he was selling the program to me, and compared it to schools in my area. When I heard people had been accepted already I was a little upset with my interviewer, but really I should’ve taken charge and talked about myself a lot more.

was anyone else asked if they were comfortable with the culture in the Salt Lake area? That was the first question I was asked.
Maybe send them an email or continued interest, and ask what the status is?
My interviewer did not ask that question. What did he even mean by Salt Lake culture? That’s so weird.

I have my interview on Friday. I am perplexed as to what they mean by the salt lake culture?

Anybody here accept their seat and know how soon the deposit is needed? For instance if I accept today does it ask for payment directly after on the acceptance portal? I know the deadline is the 15th but I am also waiting to hear back from other programs.

I accepted my seat on 12/22. I think as long as you submit the deposit by the 15th you should be fine. It’s two separate processes, the forms and the deposit.

Awesome thank you! Which cohort are you in? I got in to the Fall but I am waiting on a couple schools to weigh my options.

Totally understand! I was doing the same, but realized this program makes the most sense for me time-wise. I am in the Spring cohort starting in May 🙂. I have an interview with the University of Utah that I may consider over Rocky Mountain, but so far this is my top choice. Where are you waiting to hear from?

I am waiting on CU, KU, and have yet to hear back from Duke. Rocky mountain is definitely my second choice after CU

Anyone on here want to connect that has been accepted for the fall cohort?
