They say that the accreditation status from Rocky Vista in Parker, CO carries over to the campus in Ivins, Utah.

Is this possible? Is there a sure-way to check?

Yes. It is fully accredited per this COCA site dated November 1, 2016.

They have achieved initial accreditation which is "full accreditation" but they won't be granted continued accred until their inaugural class graduates.

They are a branch campus. Therefore they are fully accredited since the mother ship in Colorado is already fully accredited. The Colorado mother ship has graduated multiple classes. The Ivins branch is fully accredited due to affiliation with the mother ship.
