I'm finding it very easy to order my top 3 programs as well as my bottom 3, but I'm having a problem trying to decide the order of the programs in the middle of my list.

Anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions?

If you can't decide it means that there is probably not that much clear cut difference between the programs. Rank them based on location or "feel" you got during the interview. Regardless, over eighty percent of med students match somewhere in their top 3 ranks anyways so this decision is unlikely to affect you.

I thought it was more like around 55%?

55% get first choice. 80% in their top 3. However, this is somewhat dependent on specialty (eg US MD applying to family med and psych more likely to get their top choice than ENT)
