As I was entering my rank list I noticed that the "quota" for a program I am ranking highly is less than the class size number listed on frieda and quoted during the interview...does this indicate that the program has prematched people or does quota not neccessarily correlate with actual class size. Has anyone else noticed discrepencies? Just wondering if anyone knew.... Thanks!

    I think it's due to pre-matching.

As a general rule, its due to prematching...but that does not mean just IMG's...it can mean DO students as well!
Otherwise, it may just mean that they are down-sizing the number of positions this year (I know quite a few programs are doing that)...
