yes it really isn't fair! we need more entertaining threads and not those boring "Will I get accepted with these stats" type of threads!!
i agree. im not gay but that is kinda discriminating especially with the "do people hook up in dental school thread".

listen, if you open up TWO threads about hooking up with a bum chum, then I think you should have a sense of humor about it! I'd expect someone who is openly gay and cool about it enough to actively seek ROMANCE from other gay men on SDN would be able to take a few jokes.

Most professions will not accomodate your sensitivities either, there are dinguses in every profession and you can't let random comments piss you off so easily. Posting this on a student-message board full of annoymous people is just asking for flames (no pun intended).
Not saying that makes it right, just pointing out reality.
