Neighborhood (gateshead st/ mack ave, 48236) is quiet, right next to all the convenience of the grosse pointe shops and restaurants. There’s 3 grocery stores within 5 miles including trader joes.
So close to St. John you could walk there in about 10-12 minutes.

I can offer additional storage space in my basement if you have a lot of stuff.
$1000 covers all utilities and wifi. One flat rate makes it easy I think.
