Does anyone know if Century Towers has a roommate matching service? I already have an apartment lined up but it's two bedrooms and I'll need someone to share the rent with!!

I can't remember if they have a matching service or not, but here is their number if you wanted to call: 816-221-5222. I know that they have coed apartments, because when I was there one of the male students shared his apartment with a girl. I do not know if that is useful information.
I'm going to KCUMB and I am trying to figure out if I want to live at century towers or find my own spot.

If I attend KCUMB, I am not planning on living in CT. Perhaps near the Plaza or somewhere less expensive.

Well I'll be heading to KCUMB in the fall. Im gonna try to get a single at Century Towers but if I can't I'd be interested. That is if you don't mind living with a guy.

As long as you're halfway clean and not creepy (haha j/k) I wouldn't care!

Well Im at least semi clean and I don't think Im creepy so thats good. Anyways Im gonna call them monday and see if there is a chance at me getting the single but if I can't we'll definately talk.

If you have facebook, look me up-- braden dunbar. My network is through Pittsburg State University.

You can e-mail me too. Just PM me and I'll give you my address if you want it.

I asked this just last Friday. They don't officially have a service, but they try to keep tabs on who needs a roomie/who's looking for a spot and get ppl in contact with one another. But she did tell me that KCUMB has its own roomie matching service; so thats cool 🙂 One of my friends from home may move with me; but if she doesnt I'll need a roomie b/c Im getting a two bedroom either way.

Basically, I'm just taking over my brother's two room apartment. He lived in a single for a year and it's SO small. This one is the biggest you can get and I believe there are only a few of them. The bedrooms are the same size as the single, but the living room is 2x larger. There is actually room for a kitchen table, plus you have a bigger kitchen and room for a living room section and room for the "study" area.

So is it still possible to get a single?

Yeah, you can still get a single. I just figured it would be cheaper to get a 2 bdrm and split the rent. If my friend doesnt go with me, there's bound to be somebody who needs a room.

Hi everyone! I am pretty sure I will be attending KCUMB, and if I do I want to live in the CT. Please facebook me if anyone still needs roommates! Haven Caldwell (FSU)

Unless you guys can find a place for around $400 or less, I think its easier to just stay at CT. You'll be making up a lot of difference in gas.

I live in a single and my rent is $525. But man, I would not trade that extra 30 min to an hour of sleep for anything. 😳 It is REALLY nice to be able to roll out of bed and just walk to school every morning.
