I find that I work through a lot of problems in the Biology section that I have 2 answers (or more) left that I am unsure of looking at the root words. Does anyone have a list of helpful roots that might help for the DAT?

I know exactly what you are talking about. Being able to deduce an answer from prior knowledge of prefixes and suffixes is a very underrated tool in standardized testing. Lets say you didn't know the difference between osteoclast and osteoblast. If you knew clast went to break down and blast means a precursor of a cell it would steer you in the right direction. Here is a comprehensive list of common root words, prefixes, and suffixes from biology. Hope it helps!
