Hello,
From what I understand it is 60K a yr if you wanna buy ROs from Dal or Ontario schools. How does the interest play here? DO we pay interest from the first yr of residency or it starts after you finish residency.
Any input will be appreciated.

Any input will be appreciated.

If you wish to match to a residency program at Dalhousie or in Ontario, you must compete for a position in the CaRMS match. If you are selected, to accept the position you must sign a ROS contract. Interest begins accumulating immediately. Upon completing residency, if you do not fulfill the contract you signed, you will be considered to be in "breech" [sic! sic! sic! O Ontario! how humiliating!] and will be required to repay the Minister the full salary and benefits plus any stipend, including interest charged on the outstanding balance monthly, on the first day of every month.

What if you want to do a fellowship? Suppose I go into IM and want to apply to a fellowship from there, will I be allowed to?
