I have a quick question. I printed out the secondary from the pdf file and it has forms for international students and financing. I am not an international student. Did everyone get this???

Yup. If you're not an international student, the form is 'optional.'

Bingo. Just fill out that one page where you have to attach your photo and that's it.

528kb is the size of the pdf itself, but the entire email (according to yahoo) is
711kb....

i think i've decided not to write anything. they can read my first stupendously eloquent statement.... then we'll talk. 😉

complete your medical school application at Rosalind Franklin University.

I still have not received my secondary from them yet either. I'm not too worried about it though - there are a couple of others I haven't received yet either (and they don't screen). I think that is kind of ridiculous because I've received 3 from schools that screen yet there are about 5 that I still haven't received from schools that don't even screen. You'd think they would be much quicker.

Just the option to attach additional comments for the admissions committee to the secondary form. I just recycled some tidbits I had written about activities I had done since submitting the AMCAS and my plans for the next year since I am out of school.

I received a secondary, but they're on probationary accreditation. they want to make changes to the facilities, curriculum, etc. what do you think about their probationary status?

You are supposed to write your name and AAMC number in that spot. And now that you mention it, in my rush to make it to the post office before it closed, I think I may have forgotten to put it on there myself. Hopefully they figure it out.

$h!t, now you guys have me kind of worried. I just sent the RF secondary out yesterday and was wondering the same thing about "AMCAS Label." I initially was going to type in my AAMC ID, but then there were no lines or anything for us to enter any info. I then got to thinking that maybe it is one of those "office use only" type deals, so I left it blank.

Hmmm. I guess it's not that big of a deal, considering that my email address is on there, along with my name on the back of the photo.

I'm a bit confused as to how to do the financial statement part of the secondary. I'm pretty sure my parents will be able to contribute some, but other than that it will be all loans/financial aid. What kind of documentation do I need to attach for this?

I think that's for the fee waiver from AMCAS. Not sure, I didn't have any labels to speak of.

In their initial letter they give instructions to write your name and AMCAS # next to the "AMCAS label." I think they realized this problem after the fact and had to ask us to fill it out.

As for the financial info, only fill out that form if you're an international student. Hopefully that helps.

I didn't even see that it was only for international students...that makes this a lot easier (except for them wanting a hundred dollars). Thanks!

They are awfully pretentious with the fee for being on probation, aren't they? Yet we fork up the cash anyway... 🙄
